This is what got me into Battletech. I found this model at a comic shop back in the mid-90s and had no idea what it was...other than it was cool as hell. She has seen better days...vinyl sags a lot.

Of course, I prefer my Atlas and Behemoth, both being ridiculously overpowered in MW4:M

But I always give my best pilots the 'cats.

No...thats the old Horizon Vinyl kit....1/35 scale. Its the FIRST mech I ever built. I did not even know what Battletech was...it was just cool.

You can see why the thing is a signature design for the franchise, as you say without knowing what it is or for, it is heavy, intimidating and futuristic all in one and just looks damn cool
